Before bed last night, I set my alarm for 5:20 with full intentions to get up and run. The bad part? I knew I was going to be running alone and this was not a motivation factor. Needless to say... when my phone went off, snooze was my best friend. Leah tried to be a friend and text me to wake up like I had asked, but of course it didn't happen.
Starting my day with a yummy breakfast was the bomb.com. SmartOnes breakfast burritos and a big ole glass of chocolate milk!
Seeing the weather and how cool it was outside made me want to kick myself in the face for not running early.
It was going to STORM, then all of a sudden the sun came out and the clouds broke. Which meant it was hot. Great. I have to run this afternoon.
Lunch was the famous grilled chicken ceasar salad at work. and a side of watermelon that was a snack for later :)
Then, time for baking.
Who doesn't love the tanning bed? Normally I use a regular bed, but today decided to try the super. I haven't been feeling like the regular beds are tanning me like I'd like. and because it was my first purchase of a super bed, it was FREE. um, yes please!! Happy happy girl.
After work, I decided to go to the gym to run insstead of die of a heat stroke. I should have chosen the stroke. Running on a treadmill SUCKED. I think I did maybe .60mi. Yes, this girl failed. bad. The entire time I was running I was not feeling it at all. that was all of like 8 mins? I didn't look, so I'm assuming. It was torture being in a confined space and having to run at that particular pace. What is crazy is that I'm talking like I've been running outside for years. Its been like two months. I've moved up in the running world.
So I quit the treadmill crap. I was so anxious to get my arm workout on, I just couldn't wait! I had my usual rotation of biceps, triceps, and shoulders. I also threw in some back today too. I'm feeling like a guy when I say this, but my arm shape is making me happy. I feel massive at times. Expecially when I have on my favorite underarmor top.
Good workout clothes def make a difference in my workout performace. When I'm dressed frumpy, I feel frumpy. when I'm dressed in the good stuff, I feel like this :)
I'm completely cool. You don't have to tell me.
Dinner was yum. Sloppy joes, veggie straws, and cherries.
In case you don't live on this planet, you should know its JERSDAY!! Finishing this episode, then its bedtime. I have to prepare for my nonstop weekend ahead.
